摘要：An information distribution system for a digital network, includes a mastercommunications unit for establishing communications with the network in order toreceive a synchronous digital signal, a distribution amplifier unit for receiving and dividingthe synchronous digital signal into a plurality of synchronous signals and a plurality ofcommunications units for establishing communications with a plurality of receivingstations. The system also includes a master controller for controlling the plurality ofcommunications units from a central location. The invention alternatively relates to aninformation disseminating system for a digital network and includes a plurality of videoclip storing units, each storing data related to a particular subject matter, a plurality ofdistribution amplifiers associated with the video clip storing units and a plurality ofcommunications units which establish communications between the plurality ofdistribution amplifiers and the digital network. A menu storing unit accessible from thedigital network, stores information indicating the subject matter associated with each ofthe plurality of video clip storing units as well as information as to how to access each ofthe video clip units.
