Established in Qing dynasty in 1903, Hanshan Normal University was the first school to train teachers in Guangdong and was one of the earliest normal schools in China.
Hanshan Normal University has cultivated a good tradition and a excellent school spirit of working hard at teaching and learning .
The school is situated in ChaohzouCity----- a state historic and cultural city, which is known as “a Renowned Prefecture in East Guangdong”.
There are more than 50 modern labs for teaching and scientific research.
The large comprehensive documentary center ---- the school library, covers an area of 30,000 square meters, has a collection of more then 830,000 Chinese and foreign books and more than 1,800 Chinese and foreign periodicals.
When I study there ,what impress me are the pyrostegia venusta（炮仗花）blooming during summer in the Eastern area, the big library having numerous books, the humble dormitory where insects can easily be seen. The mosquitoes flocked in the public bathroom. You can not imagine even some students took a bath with the mosquito-repellent incense llighted on.But now I am convinced that the living condition of Western area has improved. During my spare time ,I would like to drown myself in the library to improve myself.
With the beautiful environment ,good teaching facilities and the friendly teacher in this school, I spent my undergraduate school years merrily .
