摘要：The seat belt (19) for the driver or front-seat passenger in a vehicle (1) with asliding door (7) has its two ends connected to a pillar (15) to the rear of the door and abracket (29) with a hook adjacent to the front edge of the door to hold the tongue (27)of the seat belt buckle (21) when it is not in use. This allows the seat belt to move to therear with the sliding door when it is opened, so that access for rear seat passengers is nothampered when the door is open and the front seat (3) is folded forwards.
