A recent survey shows that the health of the students in our school has been going from bad to worse in the past three years. It’s shocking that percent of us are nearsighted now, compared to % in 2008, which was already worrying. The same is true for students’ sleeping condition. It is a great honor for me to express my opinion at this meeting. Juvenal, a
famous writer of Rom, has a good saying a healthy mind lies in healthy body, which tell us there is a close contact between man’s mind and body, and a sound body is the base of a fine mind.
We all known, happiness lies, first of all, in health. When we can see well, we do not think about our eyes very often. It is only when we cannot see perfectly that we come to see how important our eyes are.
When you have a strong body, you can’t look it as a precious thing. It is only when you lost sight, or lost the capability of walk, even keep the bed day and night, that you will see how important your body is. It is said body is the capital of revolution.
