One possible version: Dear Andy, Thank you for your email. My favourite saying is “A friend in need is a friend indeed.” It means that if a friend comes to help you when you really need help, he or she is a true friend. I like the saying, because it tells me what a true friend is like. A true friend is someone who knows what I need and tries hard to make me happy. He is always ready to help me out when I am in trouble. He will also be honest to point out my mistakes so that I can improve myself. In a word, a true friend always cares about me and helps me, no matter what happens. Best wishes, Yours, Li Hua
