Unforgettable Memory。
When I was in high school, I participated in a summer English camp organized by my school. It was a two-week program where we had intensive English classes in the morning and various activities in the afternoon. One of the activities that I will never forget was the overnight camping trip.
We went to a national park and set up our tents near a lake. The scenery was breathtaking, with mountains in the distance and a clear blue sky above us. We had a barbecue dinner and then sat around the campfire, singing songs and telling stories. It was a magical moment, feeling the warmth of the fire and the cool breeze of the night.
As the night went on, we decided to go for a swim in the lake. It was dark, but we had flashlights and the moon was shining bright. The water was cold and refreshing, and
we splashed around like kids. Suddenly, we heard a loud noise coming from the woods. We froze and turned off our flashlights, trying to figure out what it was. Then, we saw a group of deer running across the lake, their antlers reflecting the moonlight. It was a surreal sight, and we couldn't believe our luck.
After the swim, we went back to the campfire and shared our thoughts and feelings about the experience. We talked about how nature can be both scary and beautiful, and how we need to respect and protect it. We also talked about how the English camp had brought us together and how we had made new friends from different schools.
The next morning, we woke up early and watched the sunrise over the lake. It was another unforgettable moment, seeing the colors of the sky changing from dark blue to orange and pink. We packed up our tents and headed back to the school, feeling grateful for the experience and the memories we had created.
That camping trip taught me a lot about myself and the
world around me. It showed me the power of nature and the importance of connecting with others. It also gave me a deeper appreciation for the English language and the opportunities it can bring. I will always cherish that memory and the lessons it taught me.
