摘要：A plug connector (1200, 300) is disclosed that has a body portion and a circuitcard (1212, 304) extending forwardly of a mating face (1211, 302) of the connector. Thecircuit card is protected in place by a pair of protective flanges (1215, 310, 1216, 312) thatextend forwardly from the body portion and which flank the circuit card to protect itfrom stubbing and to provide a first means for aligning the plug connector with thereceptacle connector. One or more projections formed on the exterior of the plugconnector provide second means (1226, 351) for aligning the plug connector with thereceptacle connector.
