摘要：The invention relates to methods for detecting an analyte in a sample. Themethods rely on the activity of polymerases upon polynucleotide substrates which arelinked to a molecule, for example an antibody, which binds the analyte. Activity of thepolymerases can be detected by the incorporation of suitably labelled nucleotides,and/or the incorporation of hapten conjugated nucleotides capable of binding a suitablylabelled ligand of the hapten.
