摘要：PURPOSE:To enable duplication not only on a sheet article but also on a bookarticle such as notes, by superposing a manuscript image on the surface of an article tobe copied through a thermal transfer substance layer and irradiating heat rays from themanuscript image side. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer film 4 wherein a thermaltransfer substance layer 2 is provided on one surface of a base film 3 is superposed onthe surface of a note 1 so that the thermal transfer substance layer 2 face the surface ofsaid note 1. Subsequently, a manuscript 5 for duplication is superposed on the thermaltransfer film 3 and, when heat rays are allowed to uniformly irradiate the manuscriptimage from the side of the manuscript 5 for duplication, for example, because the imagepart 7 of the manuscript 5 is formed of a dark color such as black, heat is selectivelyabsorbed by a non-image part 8 and accumulated in the image part 7. The thermaltransfer substance of the thermal transfer film 4 in contact with the manuscript 5 istransferred to the note 1 corresponding to the image part by the accumulated heat toform an image.
