摘要：A plurality of phase insulators are inserted in the cavities of the stator of adynamo-electric machine by means of an insertion device which includes a plurality ofguide blades (8) displaced circumferentially around a central axis (9) and an insertionmember (10) slidable between the series of guide blades (8) and having a circumferentialseries of axial grooves in its outer surface in which the various blades (8) are engated. Theinsertion member (10) is disposed initially in a rest position in which it allows a phaseinsulator to be positioned above the guide blades (8), after which it is moved to an oper‐ative position so as to cause the phase insulators to slide along the guide blades (8) andto be inserted in the cavities of the stator. Before the phase insulators are disposedabove the guide blades (8) at least some of them are moved from their normal operativepositions to positions spaced radially towards the outside in which the arrangement ofthe phase insulators above the guide blades (8) is particularly simple so as to enable thisto be carried out by automatic assembly equipment as well.
