摘要：The invention relates to a method for monitoring a defined amplitude

threshold value (L) of signals formed by alternating voltage and a circuit for carrying outsuch a method. To this end, the method comprises the following steps: (a) eliminatingnegative input signal half-waves, (b) stepping down the residual positive input signal half-waves, (c) testing whether the value of the stepped down input signal half-waves is aboveor below the threshold value (L) and generating a first binary signal (S1) according to thetesting, (d) monitoring, said monitoring being carried out simultaneously to steps (a) to(c), of the zero crossings of a reference signal formed by alternating voltage andgenerating a second binary signal (S2) according to the monitoring, (e) generating a thirdsignal (S3) by delaying the second signal (S2) at a defined delay time (TV) such that a statechange of the third signal (S3) results at the time of the respective vertex of the positiveinput signal half-waves, and (f) deciding whether the value of the positive input signalhalf-waves is above or below the threshold value (L), whereby a fourth binary signal (S4) isgenerated by evaluating the first signal (S1) at the time of the state change of the third

signal (S3).
