摘要：Solutions are disclosed which comprise (a) cellulose, (b) a tertiary amine N-oxidesolvent for the cellulose, (c) a solution processability-enhancing amount of at least oneco-solvent, miscible with the tertiary amine N-oxide, which is an amide selected from thegroup consisting of compounds of the formula R<1>CONHR<2> in which either (i) R<1>represents H or C1-C3 alkyl and R<2> represents H or methyl or (ii) R<1> and R<2>together represent 1,3-propylene, and, if desired, (d) a cellulose solubility-enhancingamount of water. Methods of manufacturing shaped cellulosic articles from suchsolutions are also disclosed.
